What can you learn?
He recently launched an AI app called bearly.ai.
Rather than do cringe influencer announcements that his audience will see through — every post is done with Trung’s sense of humor.
And the ads are reaching hundreds of thousands of people — for free!
Here are some of the best ads so far…
They are GOLD.
As part of my research for building the app, I’ve had 100+ email exchanges with top AI experts.
Here are the 3 most common responses:
1. “How did you get my email?”
2. “Please unsubscribe me from list.”
3. “If you email again, I’m calling authorities.”— Trung Phan (@TrungTPhan)

The hard part of building Bearly.AI is managing daily churn. Growth is choppy for startups and every day is different.
What’s the solution? Keep the long view and everything will be fine.

Is it working?
If you check out the traffic on Similar Web, the app is booming.

🔌 Nissan’s 4h Ad Reaches 18 Million People
When historians create a montage of the 2020s, one music trend will be included:
Lofi.
It’s gone from a niche genre to billions of views - as people use it daily to work.
The Google Trends are insane.

Nissan took advantage of this by creating a Lofi playlist - where the person in the video drives a Nissan for 4 hours.
It’s racked up 18 million views!
PS. I wrote this newsletter whilst listening to it! It’s good.

🔌 Hack Of The Day : Run Facebook Ads To Amazon
Bezos and Zuck do not get on.
Amazon has never allowed advertisers to place pixels on their site — because of fear of sharing data.
This has cost the digital economy billions of dollars.
Good news: This may be about to change.

🔌 What is it?
Amazon Attribution allows you to track the performance of Meta, Google and Email marketing campaigns.
And they are offering a 10% discount on all sales tracked with Amazon Attribution.
🔌 Why should you care?
For the first time ever, you can begin to see some feedback loops on external traffic driven to Amazon.
If this continues, you may be able to run campaigns directly to Amazon — meaning Amazon may be coming for Shopify.
Jonathon Snow broke this down fantastically on Twitter.
Guarantee >50% of DTC Twitter has no idea about this.
Amazon Attribution. Amazon used to be a black box b/c you can't place pixels on your storefront listings.
w/ AA you can track performance of Meta, Google, Email marketing campaigns that drive traffic straight to an Amazon… htttwitter.com/i/web/status/1…
